Owen David Henry, OD, received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. His past experience consists of diagnosing and managing ocular disease at the Veterans Affairs Eye Center in Cincinnati as well as the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago. Dr. Henry also had the opportunity to work with a multinational research team in Sweden focused on using the cultivation of stem cells to treat age related macular degeneration.
Dr. Henry grew up in the Buffalo area receiving a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Buffalo, before returning to school to pursue his passion for eye care; which he discovered while shadowing optometrists in the Western New York area. In his free time Dr. Henry embraces his Buffalo Bills fandom and enjoys cooking at home with family.
